Happy 2017 Seattle! | DATE NIGHT
Happy 2017 Seattle friends, family, neighbors! Can you believe it?! It has already been almost one month and 2017 has started off with a big bang of positivity. I’ve been with my husband for five years, married for 2 years and 7 months. Last year we bought a home in West Seattle and we love the crazy journey it has taken us on.
This fun repeat video was done with Boomerang and I have to say this program is pretty interesting! I had a blast playing around with the app and I think you would love using it too!
To bring in 2017, we celebrated in style, we went on date night, first eating dinner at Dukes Chowder House and ordering yummy seafood appetizers. We order a crab patty plate and a salmon taco plate.I’m not going to lie, the best part about the appetizers was the sauces that complimented each plate. They also surprised us with a scrumptious arugula salad that really added a spark of taste to separate the palate. I highly recommend taking your significant to Dukes Chowder House you both will be pleased by what you taste (and drink)!
My silly bearded husband.
Delicious food!
After date night dinner we went home to watch another movie in the Star Wars series. After hearing that Carrie Fisher passed away along with her mother. We thought how strange it was that we started watching the Star Wars movies several days before her passing. We decided to honor her by finishing all of the movies.
When the movie ended we drove to our friends apartment to enjoy the spectacular fireworks that the Seattle Needle shoots off every year!
Later we said our goodbyes to friends and Uber’ed home to enjoy West Seattle snow showers. We had a blast walking the dogs we sit along with our pup Benni through the snow. I even made a snow angel down our drive way!
We can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store for us! 2016 was a year of growth and understanding people, myself, and the world. 2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful positive year and I can’t wait to share with everyone my journey of growing into my marriage, becoming a family, being a wedding photographer, and most importantly showing others to always love yourself and others. My goals for this year is to eat out less (maybe one date night a month), eat more dinners in our new home, and to take care of myself by staying fit. Follow me on this journey.
