I truly enjoyed traveling to Maple Valley, Washington and photographing at Lake Wilderness Park. Being able to photograph in this park with such magical, vibrant and luscious vegetation created a romantic moment for the couple’s first look and formal photographs. Just as the Bride and Groom saw each other for the first time, two ducks swam onto the lake and created a ripple effect that you just couldn’t recreate. Matt had just come back from serving our country, with the U.S. Army. What a special gift that nature gave these two as a tribute to their service on Veteran’s Day. As a photographer, I found this special to capture their day because it brought many insights into how many sacrifices service men and women and their spouses have made and will continue to make for our country.

The holidays can bring the best out of individuals or the worst, same with weddings. As a wedding photographer I’ve seen everything, and know how to handle those type of situations. I think we all know what I’m talking about? “Family Drama”. With an experienced photographer like me – when parents and relatives become nervous on the day of the wedding, I am able to answer their concerns and try my best to dissipate any worries you or they may have. I’m a problem solver, solution seeker, and pride myself on being helpful. Occasionally my husband will photograph with me or my trained second photographers and they also understand my motto to serve you with the best experience.
