Wow! Wow! Wow! Snohomish Pie Co. You’re the best! I recently met up with a bunch of vendors through an amazing guild I’m a part of. At the guild meeting I met the Snohomish Pie Co. They served delicious desserts for any kind of occasion and event. Specifically it was a wedding inspired desert table. Later they handed out boxes and we were freely able to take home these yummy goodies. The next day my son woke up and well, what’s better than breakfast?! DESSERT FOR BREAKFAST!! Yep you heard that right. Haha. I whipped out my camera and started capturing the feeling when you first bite into one of their desserts. Just Yum! So good. I can’t wait to visit them again. I hope this inspires you to consider them for your wedding or event. You won’t be disappointed.

PNW Micro Wedding Inspiration

Welcome to my blog. Today I’m going to talk to you about Micro Weddings here in the PNW and how fun it can be to create your own wedding with 20 people or less. Some people may argue it’s 50 or less. At the end of the day, you get to decide how small and intimate your wedding can be. The smaller you go the less you have to budget for and manage. You get to focus on all the details you have dreamt of without the fuss of a big venue. Or you can purely go simple with no need to think about any sort of details for the day. It’s just you and your partner surrounded by the closest of family members and friends.

If you want, you can hone in on exactly the wedding you dreamt of that highlights you and your partner’s personalities and the heart of your lifestyle in your celebrations. You get to the splurge the budget in ways you thought you never could when you don’t have to pay for a large venue, catering for hundreds of people, etc. This particular inspirational photoshoot was done in a photography studio loft in downtown Seattle that was an inexpensive Airbnb rental. If you plan on becoming man and wife down at the courthouse of Seattle, look no further to Lauren Ryan Photography arranging a rental for a few hours to capture indoor photographs in a stylish setting.

Many options for small venues exist including unique Airbnbs, VRBO rentals, waterfront properties owned by friends or family (if you can borrow the space), get a permit for a Seattle or Washington State Park, and so many other options outside of traditional venues.

Issaquah Washington Elopement || Confluence Park || Ashlee + Soufy

One word that describes Ashlee + Soufy, “Sillyness”. Being apart of their Issaquah Washington Elopement, I learned so much about how great it can be to be both silly and in love in front of the camera. Immediately we hit it off and got down to business by photographing their elopement at Confluence Park. The more we played with the poses, the less they felt awkward and stiff. I enjoyed their quirkiness and the love they shared between each other. They really made it fun and of course I got to play with her dress, because LRP loves a good dress toss! Ashlee and Soufy also got creative and made up some of their own poses that translated so well in their gallery and told a wonderful story between the two. I wish these two well and a blissful honeymoon in Disneyland!
